Tuesday, August 2nd

Tada! Yeppers, another one bites the bible. I really like doing this blog. No responses from anyone to my posts, but I hope I inspire you just a little as I inspire myself a whole lot. My QTs before doing this blog were somewhat consistent, but would be not half as thought out as what the blog is causing myself to think through. Well, let's see what's in store for today...

I have a ton of things ahead of me for this week as I prepare for the first time for me to go out of the good ol' US of A.

Matthew 11:25-30
25At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.

27"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

So, I am sure you knew it was coming...

Rest (noun)
1. Cessation of work, exertion, or activity.
2. Peace, ease, or refreshment resulting from sleep or the cessation of an activity.
3. Sleep or quiet relaxation.

I think that part of not worrying so much, is that I have to rely on God. When I truly rely on God, I will be relaxed and able to find rest and comfort. A certain peace. How nice is that? A good nugget. Tis all for today. Johnny Out.
