Love Is All We Need: Part II

This is continuing what I did yesterday, the fruit study on Love. Today has already been a challenging day. This morning, I got my car stuck in a ditch. I asked a gentleman for help and he said that he would not help. I struggled with it for a bit. I guess I am still struggling with it. I asked his neighbor and he helped and I got out of the ditch.

Here's what we got so far:

Here's a checklist regarding love:

• Should Love Wife (spouse).
• Love Wisdom.
• Love should be written on heart.
• God returns Love to those who Love Him.
• Loving wisdom increases wealth.
• All who hate wisdom love DEATH.

Of course, Proverbs has plenty more scriptures regarding love.

Proverbs 9:7-8

"Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult; whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse. Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you."

Proverbs 10:8-12

The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin. The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out. He who winks maliciously causes grief, and a chattering fool comes to ruin. The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.

Proverbs 14:22-23

Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness. All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

This puts me at about halfway through Proverbs (bookwise, still plenty of scripture to go).

• Planning to do good finds love!
