Bible in 90 Days: Part II

I have to say that it is really interesting reading the Bible in this fashion. If you haven't done so, you should seriously consider doing something like this. Today, I went to Larry Mason's funeral to serve. I really didn't know Larry. I have heard that I have met him, but I really do not remember meeting him. But I really feel for his families situation and wanted to help out any way that I could. So serving at his funeral was a definite must.

Larry's situation is this: he died in an auto accident after having fallen asleep at the wheel. He was coming home from work (working the night shift). He left behind his wife and two kids, ages 3 and 1. He also served in the teen ministry, if I am not mistaken. I know he served in a capacity such as that.

I will have to say that this time has been troublesome for me. Not just the Larry Mason situation, which makes my heart sad for them, but then there is a situation in our group that is dealing with a miscarriage. And add that yesterday, at around 3 PM, my uncle passed away... I don't think that any one situation makes me extremely saddened, but combined, I am depressed.

My uncle's funeral is on Monday. I am trying to figure out how to get there and back.
